Cape Pick Up Day

Holland Bloorview (150 Kilgour Rd)

Come to Holland Bloorview, show us your registration page and pick up your red or gold cape! While you’re at it, grab a coffee and treat on us!

You are eligible for a red cape if you have fundraised $100+ ($50 for children), and a gold cape if you have fundraised $1000+.

Raps 905 World Record Breaking Event

Have you ever wanted to be part of something big? Like attempting to break a world record big? Now you can!

On February 6, come out to watch your Raptors 905 team take on the Maine Celtics and help break a Guinness world record.

Cycle for Capes!

Cyclebar Leaside

Grab your cape and join us at Cyclebar Leaside for a charitable workout. Led by Holland Bloorview social worker, Meghan T, this 45 minute Caped spin class will get the heart moving!

The first 42 people to make a $30 minimum donation will receive a link to sign up and spin with us.

Staff, families, supporters – all are invited to this super event!

Caped Meet up

Sunday, March 5
12-4pm
Shops @ Don Mills – Skating Area, central to mall

Calling all superheroes!

Join us for an afternoon of outdoor fun with skating on the outdoor rink, a hot chocolate to warm your bellies, and some fun and games. Adaptive skating equipment will be available to try or borrow, plus an expert or two to teach you a few sweet sledge hockey moves! We have a few other surprises in store for this event so please come and join in the fun!

If cold weather isn’t your jam, just come and say and say hi and we’ll hit you up with a pair of tickets to Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania while supplies last.

To note:

  • Skating is weather dependant but this event will carry on in the snow, sun, rain and slush!
  • Skates are not available for rent at this location.


Lunarbaboon Superhero Drawing Class

Do you want to create your very own Capes For Kids superhero? Now you can! Learn to draw an amazing superhero, led by a local Toronto artist Lunarbaboon.

Grab some paper and a pencil for this virtual Superhero Drawing Class, and don’t forget to wear your cape!

Dinosaur Superhero Drawing Class – hosted by Industrial Brothers

Join us in person or online for this superhero themed cartoon dinosaur drawing class. This hybrid event will be spectacular for art, superhero, dinosaur and cartoon enthusiasts alike!

Based off their new show, Dino Ranch which features 3 dinos with a disability, an Industrial Brothers professional artist is teaching the class giving you the skills to create your own Dino Ranch star!

Don’t forget to wear your cape!
